Best Range Jewels

Apart from baron jewels, these are the best jewels in order for your range gear. The newer assault jewels although very costly, give better stats compared to the monster HP jewels. However, you don’t need them if you already have baron jewels.

Detailed Comparison of all Cavalry Gear

Main-hand

1. Champion Blade

Rare Material – 8 x Crimson Mane Crimson Mane

Champion Blade is the best main-hand for range blast, giving a total of 49% ATK and 23.8% DEF. It is also a great piece for an Inf-Rng mix set. However, the stats are quite close to the non champ pieces like Skullcrusher, and it is also quite costly to make. Not worth making unless needed for mix set.

2. Champion Greatsword

Rare Material – 8 x Crimson Mane Crimson Mane

Champion Greatsword has the same stats as Champion Blade, giving a total of 49% ATK and 23.8% DEF. It is also very costly and close in stats to Skullcrusher, not worth making unless needed for a mix set.

3. Skullcrusher
  • Rng ATK 21%
  • Army ATK 28%
  • Inf DEF 35%

Rare Material – 9 x Mutated BrainMutated Brain (Hell Drider)

Skullcrusher is the best non-champ main-hand, giving a total of 49% ATK. It is very difficult to make since it requires 9 rare materials, but the materials are not needed for any other essential gear. Recommend working on it slowly.

4. Wyrm Rod

Rare Material – 2 x Jade OrbJade Orb (Jade Wyrm Drider)

Wyrm Rod also has good range stats giving 35% ATK and 24.5% HP. But it uses Jade Orbs which are also required for Wyrmbone Coronet, recommend not making.

Off-hand

Champion Lamp is the best off-hand for range, giving 49% ATK and 28% DEF. However, it has not much difference in range stats compared to Eternal Codex. Would not recommend unless making for a mix set.

2. Eternal Codex

Rare Material – 8 x Cursed Skull Cursed Skull (Grim Reaper)

Eternal Codex is the best non-champ off-hand for range, giving 49% ATK. It is also essntial for mix gear. Also it’s comparatively cheaper to make since the rare material does not get used anywhere else.

3. Winter Mitts

Rare Material – 4 x Festive Bell Festive Bell (Snow Beast)

Winter Mitts give 14% ATK, 35% HP and 35% DEF for range blast. Although the ATK stats are low, the HP & DEF stats are quite high. It is also a nice piece to use for defending rallies, and very easy to make. You can use them as a starter piece while you work on codex.

Helmet

Rare Material – 7 x Crimson Mane Crimson Mane

Champion Visor is the best helmet to make for range set, giving 49% ATK and 28% HP. However, it is not a huge improvement in stats over non champ pieces, so don’t recommend making it unless needed for a mix set.

2. Champion Armet

Rare Material – 7 x Crimson Mane Crimson Mane

Champion Armet has the same stats as Champion Visor, giving 49% ATK and 28% HP. It’s stats are also not a huge improvement in stats over non champ pieces, so don’t recommend making it.

3. Wyrmbone Coronet

  • Rng DEF 28%
  • Army HP 17.5%
  • Research Speed 14%

Rare Material – 6 x Jade Orb Jade Orb (Jade Wyrm)

Wyrmbone Coronet is the best non-champ helmet for range set, giving a total of 45.5% ATK, 17.5% HP and 28% DEF. It offers decent stats and is a good piece to make. Stats wise I’d say it is either equal to or only slightly better than Bumblehelm, but also comes with a research boost, so a good option to make early on in the game.

4. Bumblehelm

  • Cav ATK 42%
  • Rng ATK 42%
  • Army HP 28%

Rare Material – 10 x Queen Venom Queen Venom (Queen Bee)

Bumblehelm also has great range stats, giving 42% ATK and 28% HP. It is also essential for mix gear, and cavalry gear. It is very difficult to make requiring 10 rare materials. but almost same in stats as coronet. Can use as an alternate, but would have to divide your jewels, so I recommend making Coronet over this.

Armor

Rare Material – 10 x Crimson Mane Crimson Mane

Champion Plate is the best armor for range, giving 56% ATK, 35% HP and 59.5% DEF. It has good stats for range and also gives reduced upkeep. It was a great upgrade over Hardened Carapace, but becomes less of an improvement over the new Beastly Breastplate. However, still a decent piece to make, specially because of the reduced upkeep boost and for mix gear set.

2. Beastly Breastplate

  • Rng HP 21%
  • Army DEF 28%

Rare Material – 7 x Lunar Crest LM Lunar Crest (Hootclaw)

Beastly Breastplate is the best non-champ armor for range, giving 49% ATK, 21% HP and 28% DEF. With the new Labyrinth Challenge it is slightly more easier to make now. However you might also need these materials for Lunar Boomerang.

3. Hardened Carapace

  • Rng ATK 35%
  • Army DEF 14%

Rare Material – 5 x Queen Venom Queen Venom (Queen Bee)

Hardened Carapace also has decent stats for range, giving 35% ATK and 14% DEF boost. It is also comparatively easier to make, but takes away venoms from Bumblehelm, so recommend skipping it.

4. Deathly Mantle

Rare Material – 1 x Cursed Skull Cursed Skull (Grim Reaper)

Deathly Mantle gives 28% ATK and 21% DEF for range. It is quite easy to make, but takes away material from Eternal Codex. However, you can use it as starter piece while you work on Beastly Breastplate or Champion gear.

Legs

Rare Material – 5 x Crimson Mane Crimson Mane

Champion Boots are the best legs to make for range, giving a total of 70% ATK and 30.8% HP. It gives a pretty good boost and are relatively cheap to make using only 5 Crimson Manes.

2. Dragon’s Talons

  • Army HP 21%

Rare Material – 8 x Glowing Eye Glowing Eye (Blackwing)

Dragon’s Talons are the best non-champ legs to make for range, giving 42% ATK and 21% HP for range. They have a decent boost and can be used for mix set as well. Overall a good piece to make.

3. Blizzard Pants

  • Cav ATK 42%
  • Army HP 16.8%
  • Army DEF 14%

Rare Material – 15 x Ambergris Crystal Ambergris Crystal (Arctic Flipper)

Blizzard Pants have almost similar stats as Dragon’s Talons, giving 42% ATK, 16.8% HP and 14% DEF. However, it is very costly to make requiring 15 rare materials. Recommend skipping it.

Accessory

1. Champion Blessing

Rare Material – 14 x Crimson Mane Crimson Mane

Champion Blessing is the best accessory for range gear, giving a total of 35% ATK and 35% HP boost. However, it is extremely costly to make, requiring 14 manes and the stats are quite similar to ambrosial cups. Recommend skipping it unless making for mix set

2. Champion Valor

  • Rng ATK 21%
  • Army ATK 14%
  • Army HP 35%

Rare Material – 14 x Crimson Mane Crimson Mane

Champion Valor has the same stats as Champion Blessing, giving a total of 35% ATK and 35% HP boost. It is also extremely costly to make requiring 14 rare materials. Recommend skipping it.

3. Ambrosial Cup

  • Rng ATK 35%
  • Inf HP 21%
  • Rng HP 21%

Rare Material – 13 x Glowing Halo Glowing Halo (Bon Appeti)

Ambrosial Cups are the best non champ accessories for range blast, giving 35% ATK and 21% HP boost. However, they need 13 halos and are pretty costly to upgrade. However, getting halos through tycoon is a good option.

4. Polar Ring

Rare Material – 18 x Ambergris Crystal Ambergris Crystal (Arctic Flipper)

Polar Ring has almost same stats as Ambrosial Cup, giving 35% ATK and 21% HP for range. However, it is much more costly to make, requiring 18 rare materials. It is only worth making if you want to use if for cav-rng mix gear. In general though, I recommend skipping making it.

5. Blight Ring

  • Wall DEF Boost 35%

Rare Material – 7 x Corrosive Toxin Corrosive Toxin Crystal (Mega Maggot)

Blight Ring has decent stats for range giving 19.6% ATK, 21% HP and 21% DEF. It is relatively easy to make and is a good option to use while you upgrade your cups giving both ATK & HP stats.

Ending Notes

Range Gear is one of easier to build sets in the game and for a lot of players will be their strongest set to hit with. I would recommend starting on 1 Ambrosial Cup first and using Blight Rings for the other slots while you upgrade them.

      • It can be a bit harder to make the set complete but the Wyrm rod has more Hp then the skullcrusher for less attack. But if you’re p2p its easier to max the Wyrm rod out.
